Kathleen and Nick at Belle Mer in Newport, Part One

So the hot topic all week was the weather of course, and really it has been for a while, what is the deal?! But Kathleen and Nick got a bit of luck and it turned into a beautiful evening after pouring rain all day!

The girls got ready at Castle Hill in Newport. Check out this awesome bling shot!

More bling, because really you can never have a enough! I'm sure Kathleen will find reasons to wear these shoes again, they are so awesome!

Rub a dub dub, bouquets in the tub! These were done by the fabulous Stoneblossom crew headed by none other than Joyce.

How cute is Kathleen 'jumping' into her dress, she looks so happy!

They were running a little bit late so she had to run...

But there is always time for a spin or two...

Here are the guys before the ceremony which was held at the Cathedral of Peter and Paul in Providence.

These girls were having the best time all dressed up as the flowergirls, always a highlight of a little girls life I think. I guess it's bride-practice, see you in 20 years girls...

WOW! This is a grand entrance for the bride and her Dad. The isle is nice and long so you get the chance to really enjoy the moment.

This church is so dramatic and beautiful, this is such a serious photo, you can feel the nervousness.

Isn't this little boy the cutest, I just want to squeeze him! As I'm sure all the other ladies do too!

Even though you can barely see them there at the alter, they are there amongst all of the amazing ornate detail in this church.

A cool detail shot at the back of the church that was irresistible.

There they go, cascading back down the isle...married!

    Always time for a smooch...

    Shiney happy bridesmaid!

Oooooooh!!! Thank you awesome sunlight and veil combo gods!

Too bad Kathleen is so unhappy.

Getting back into the limo to head back to Newport for the reception...

Here is the fantastic detail that Kathleen had added to her dress, LOVE IT! Again, never too much sparkle!

    What a hot couple!

Aww, how great is this moment!

Wow, more miracle sunshine...it was beautiful and dreamy for sure.

    The ladies...

Maybe all that sunshine was coming from inside Kathleen?!

    The men...

    A very fun wedding party!

More 'hot stuff' from these two...

They had a lot of laughs together and really were having a great time at their wedding!

Whoa. Love this shot! It's so great when it all comes together for that perfect moment.

They even got crazy clouds in the sky, very cool!

Ya hoo! What a great time we had doing the formals, we just kept snapping and snapping. So much good stuff!

See you tomorrow for part two!

Melissa is the bomb!

So says Stella...we just got this thank you note from her yesterday, it was so nice!!!

"Dear Melissa, I can't even begin to thank you for such an incredible job you did. Never in a million years could I have imagined how stunning my wedding photos would be. I've gotten countless compliments from everyone. Someone said, "Every photo belongs in a magazine". Shane and I will remember our wedding day for the rest of our lives and you are the one who captured all the special details and moments. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts." Love, Stella and Shane

Well if that is not a good endorsement I don't know what is. Great job Melissa!!!

Lesley and Brett at Rosecliff Mansion in Newport, Part Two

    Posted by Mariah:

We are making our way inside now.. it's almost time for the ceremony, but we've got a few minutes to get some detail pics. Trish is in charge of that because well, she's good at it.

The ballroom at Rosecliff is just absolutely stunning.
    Of course... Stoneblossom.

Cascading... can't get enough of cascading. Flowers, brides, waterfalls... it doesn't matter as long as it's cascading.

Cool cake shot Trish- cake by Mark Soliday of Confectionary Design.

Lesley is tucked away upstairs, time for my favorite part of the Jewish ceremony, the Bedeken. Brett is going to place the veil over Lesley's face and she won't take it off until after they've said their vows. It's just a lovely symbol.

If I were Jewish... I think I would probably dream of this moment from the time I was a little girl.

    Okay, now I am weepy.

    and I have goosebumps.

Remember what I said about must haves? Yeah, this is one too.

Trish is still on fire. I love this photo. The movement, the light, everything...

    Mr and Mrs

Cocktail hour yummies... there was a seafood explosion at the cocktail hour!

    Aren't these gorgeous?!

This bread was baked with some sort of delicious seafood filling on the inside... what a work of art!

... and Lobter rolls! My absolute fav! NO- I did not eat these after I took this photo. But, I must say that Brett and Lesley generously treated us all to fillet and lobster for dinner. Luckily for Mike Picard and I, 3 out of the six of the photographer/video team do not eat Lobster. Hooray for people who don't eat Lobster and Hooray for me for eating 2.5 Lobster tails in addition to my fillet. I am one spoiled snapper. Mike and I high fived each other over this little lobster-coupe.

    Must have #3.

Lesley and Brett practiced there little hearts out and when the big moment came for their dance... the execution was flawless.

What girl doesn't love to twirl?

Actually, this is the moment Lesley was waiting for since she was a little girl. Dancing the Hora with her new husband. The experience did not disappoint- and when the song ended, Brett asked the band to do it again. Great photo by Lisa.

    Okay, goosebumps again.

Like father like son... or vice-versa.

It's me- I LOVE the hora and get right in there risking life and limb! I've been impaled by high heels, had eyes blackened by rogue elbows and been knocked off a chair- no matter- the energy is contagious!

    Good times.

Enjoying a sweet toast by Lesley's dad who said... "To 'man up', is to learn to tie your little girl's hair in pig tails for school when her mother is away" Big Hooray for a wonderful man, Lesley's dad.

    MMM. Cake.

What? Easy to see where Brett gets his dance moves.

What a snooze this party is.

Brett and Lesley had the time of their lives!

Thanks for sharing it with the snapgirls- you guys were an absolute joy!

But wait, there's more! Coming up next... the photolounge. Hooray for the photolounge!
